First Man Brewery is a family-owned and operated brewery and taproom. As the only brewery in Derby, Kansas, we’re on a mission to create a family-friendly space where the community can come together over easy-drinking craft beer.
Our cozy space is designed with families in mind — large tables to gather comfortably, a patio area to sit with pets, and things to keep the kids engaged while you relax.

Our Story
We love Derby. It’s home to our family of 7. And it’s where Hannah came across the home brewing equipment that reignited Adam’s passion for the art of brewing.
In 2018, we started our journey of creating a brewery. Four years, two kids, and a pandemic later, First Man Brewery was born.
